Black Lily

Life's a blur,
All I see are shadows;
Shallow little representations of people.
I'm never alone,
Never for long anyway,
Yet I'm always by myself.
Abandoned...
I can walk in a crowd
With no one near me.
I call on my friend,
I close my eyes.
Embrace the darkness,
Though it only lasts a second
Then I'm back to the light.
Why do I feel so alone ?
This loneliness is overwhelming.
The tears are there,
But what for ?
A boyfriend, friends, family
And yet there's something missing.
There's an emptiness inside,
I can't escape.
Help ! Help ! Please someone help!
I'm tired ...
Exhausted of this consistent fight,
With myself.
I'm all by myself,
Surrounded by nothing and everything.
I'm a black orchid in a field a lilies;
The outcast.
This is my cry for help,
The last straw.
I'm ready to burst,
Allowing the tears to be let free.
I can't take this anymore...
I want to give up so bad.
I'm so frustrated of always feeling the way I do.
Like I'll be alone forever,
Like there will never be someone who truly gets it,
Who truly understands my emotions.
I'm unhappy,
Miserable,
Lonely.
