Bipolar
I spiral down
Into the hollow place within my heart
Where each beat
Is cacophony
And every pulse
Is severe anguish
Paranoid
Perpetual agony
Living in a clock
With time ticking
Tearing me senseless
Entangled in disorder
In tune with the echoes
In my brain
Like a bell
I am a church
Divided
Desperate
I am deprived of serenity
Hysteria chasing me
Chasing pills
To chase pain
In a chaotic dystopia
I call reality
Dazed and dreaming
In kaleidoscope visions
Like broken glass
Shattered
And I am staring into my reflection
Unrecognizable to me
Is this the apocalypse
Of a world once known to me
As bliss
And ignorant security
Or have I gone
With Alice
Down a hole
And now whole
I cannot be?
