Torment

So much pain,
So much loss.
One step forward,
Three steps back.
The struggle is too much,
Ready to give.
Tears of sadness,
Are her new best friends.
Always there, taunting her,
Blinding her,
Keeping her company.
She feels no love,
Knows not the taste of bliss.
Touched not by love,
But by pain.
Falling faster,
Into the
Deep,
Dark,
Abyss.
