The Swing of the Soul

There was this swing, for which;
The hanger were the clouds,
Swivel the breeze and the chain was love.
Swayed upon that, two hearts and a soul.

Fearless and blissful, where;
Time had no meaning in their eyes.
Where differences had no space,
The whole existence of their’s was each other.

Their dream held their lives,
And their lives flowered joy.
These flowers danced down to the ground.
And grew up to be trees with swings.

The sway of those swings,
Seemed to be the enchanted dance of love.
But the minds those lived in that garden,
Seemed to be afraid of its sway.

The minds that yielded doubts and greed,
The minds that yielded possession and lust,
The minds that owned supremacy and anger,
The minds that forgot their quiddity.

Though the essence of life,
Was always around them;
Their eyes couldn’t witness this bliss.
For, all that they saw in the path was fear.

And in the end when their walls cracked;
Those tired eyes looked up to that soul.
And wished to have got on to that swing,
And sway without boundaries;
Sway trough their mistakes and imperfections.
With the grace of joy and mercy onto themselves.

And hoped to be blessed,
With an other life to sway on that swing in their garden.
A life of purity;
Where the mind becomes the heart filled with the dance of love.
And the soul within the heart,
Seeks that infinite soul beyond the skies.

- Inspired by my Sister...
