Brendita

Brenda sweet Brenda.
Still to this day you will catch her daydreaming about the man by the bay.

Down by the beach, they'll walk holding hands wiggling their toes on the grainy white sands.

& day after day she'll just sit there and think.
As life passes by in her thoughts Brenda sinks.

Once upon a time
She had written a story
about a middle aged boatman and all of his glory.

Everywhere she'd go she would receive so much praise,
But Brenda she didn't care.
Not an eyebrow she'd raise.

If you see Brenda now shes beyond recognition,
consumed with thoughts of a man who is in no position.
To think or to breath or to walk down the sand.

But don't you tell Brenda
Because that's Brenda's man!!!!!
