Old Soul

I feel like I've lived this life before,
Avoiding the mistakes i used to make in scores
This time feels different though
I have never chosen this path I'm sure.
The things that i thought would excite me;
They just seem so petty
Material things are cool but have you ever been at peace?
You see I think I've been here at least twice
I contemplate so much in my life
People my age are much younger than me
Somedays i stare at the stars and envy the sea.
I seem to crave the things that don't exist no more
I guess this is what it means to have an old soul.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
