After All That's Happened
AFTER ALL THAT’S HAPPENED
He said to me
‘I woke up about 3a.m.
I was woken up by
the sound of someone
crying;
I sat on the edge of
the bed for a few
minutes,
and it seemed that
the crying had
stopped;
I thought I’d make
myself a cup of tea
and as I pulled
myself up, I felt
something on my
face, I raised my
hands up, my face
was wet;
it had been me that
had been crying
and I had woken
myself up’
