Mistakes Made Are Never Forgotten

I stand upon the Precipice of life
Do I leap forward or do I fall back?
My fate rests upon the edge of a knife
For messing things up I’ve a special knack
My life, tis void of glorious sunshine
Eternally, I’ll pay for this mistake
My life, does slumber in darkness Divine
Eternally, my chest burns with heartache
I used to see a Golden Crusader
I thought myself clever, a mastermind
Now I can see, a broken invader
How could I have been so foolishly blind?
And though my choice I shall always regret,
A lesson once learned, I will not forget.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
