It's the hardest thing
I ever had to do
You asked me how I felt
And I lied to you

I can't tell you the truth
So I deal with the pain
But when I am alone
My tears fall like rain

So I said it's alright
And I said I'm okay
But I know it'll just get worse
Everyday

Cause I know you'll move on
Try to find someone new
Boy, just know that
I still love you

I know I make it hard
And I know I make hurt
But baby, you and I
Could make this work

I lie about how I feel
Everyday to you
Maybe this time
I should try the truth

So I’m gonna tell the truth
I ain’t gonna lie to you no more
I know you already left
But please walk back in the door
