My Spirit Riding Forever Free
Upon the pale horse I will ride
Following the rising tide
Then up into the night sky
Amonst the stars we will try
To disappear from all life
To wipe away all pain and strife
Closer to heaven I will be
My spirit riding forever free
Free from the powerful rein of men
Free from the mans failing hand
For very soon He will come
The Holy Spirit, Father and Son
To complete our journey He will lead
All of us home as I so often read
Upon the pale horse I will be
Closer to heaven forever free
Free from the troubles that have found me
Free from the greedy spirits I see
Up into the night and all through the day
To be content and pain free I pray
And when you look you will find me
Upon a pale horse riding free
Over the rainbow to never touch down
Oh the peace and beauty I have found
Forever my pain free soul will sing
Me closer to heaven my pale horse will bring
