Silenced

Shimmering silver light
descends from a crecent moon
it shines on your pale white face
your lips are purple
your hair no longer bright firey red
blood runs down your neck
spills onto the ground
your blood stays liquid, as a symbol of your life;
free flowing and never without a will to live on
Now all that remains of you is this image
so cruelly implanted into my brain;
seared and locked into place
How I wish you would've listened.
For if you did you would be here now
I wish for just another minute with you.
But alas, this wish will never be granted
You can not turn back time.
