The Epitaph

Oh can't you see, the darker side of me
Do you feel the emptiness that plagues my soul
I'm a broken road, there aint no pot of gold
At the end of my rainbow

So let darkness come, and wash away my soul
For there's nothing left of value here to behold
It's such a heavy load, I'm broken, tired, and cold
The epitaph unfolds

So lay me down in an unmarked grave
Let me wash away the stains within my name
No more pain inside, no more hurt no lies
As I quietly fade away
