Psyche Borne
I the dare devil;
Go to office every day.
I listen and throw
All that doesn’t stop me from
going to office and coming back home.
Morning news; evening headlines
Unknown corpses; distant sounds,
Somehow don’t seem to clog my way.
I text and call
to all those I know,
If a blast marks the day.
Once confirmed and reassured
that all is well with them.
I sleep well; get up; go to office the next day.
Terrorism has settled deep down into me,
as an emotion – rarely reflected both
with pain and fear.
