TIMING

What is it to be
That I shall die
Without your love
You entered my life
If I never knew
How or why
The art of love
You set my spirit free
I know not how
Your kiss tantalized me
I know not why
You cannot say
You were the
Most honest man
My love for you
I did not understand
Now you are not here
I wonder why
It was timing
Just timing
And time passed us by
My love for you
Still lingers on
She had you first
Now you are gone
