H I M

I hate holding everything in.
I just want to scream.
I want to punch my wall until my knuckles bleed.

I want to lay on the ground and cry.
Until I feel that deep pain in my heart.

I wish I could run away smiling without a care in the world,

But I feel everything...
Mostly the pain.

How do people live a happy life.
I see that there is so much to live for and to love
And to create an endless amount of laugher,

but the darkness is too consuming.

When I close my eyes I feel him again crying out in pain
as his tears fall onto my chest.

only now I can’t be there to wipe away his tears.
I am only a passing thought.
He doesn’t want to torture me anymore.

Does he realize it’s too late?
