Endless Tear

It hasn’t been easy
That you left is still a mystery
I never knew you but from pictures
Are you one or not of heavenly creatures?

From a far smoke wails into the sky
The knowledge of the burning bush makes me cry
The village you could hold together is now scattered
Mam! On top of my voice I request for your presence
Why you neither seem to care nor pay a listening ear
The absence of your motherly love tortures me

The mansion in my sight is meaningless
So incomplete without you
Like a so-called forest without trees
You left us in a shell too small to harbor us
Where shall I find happiness
Now that am a puppy without its bone

Time took you away from us
So many good stories of you embedded in my mind
Death so wicked taking the standing pole
But why did you choose to die on my birth bed?
The day that’s to remind me of life
Has nothing but terror polished from the inside
