Merry Ho Ho

Here, it is, that time of year
with some cheers
if you don't you will be in fear
with sad children and some fake tears
time to pull out my leer for the first world problems that people tend to care
about
and they pout when discounts and red tags are out
fat like a pig, and reasons the size of a trout
did he ask for this
did he want this
if they saw this country he would be piss
that people piss away money on jewels and gift wrap
and that's that!
get slapped!
this time of the year gives me chills
cause puttin money in the hands of evil is a thrill
wish the Grinch was real rather then a fat white man breaking in my place for real
merry ho ho and a happy new year

A belted congrats for your 6th place finish in my poem. This was secretly my favorite in it's deeply contrasting tone and dark humor. I really enjoyed your POV.
