The Doc's Know Best

The days move on
A little slower
& the world dies
A little faster so
You monitor your every
Action count calories
Limit sodium intake
The polar bears will be extinct
In a mere twenty years
As well as pandas
Tigers (all variations)
Whales (all; period!)
The doc’s give me pills
So I can stop thinking of death
On the television
A tsunami struck land
Off the coast of somewhere
And thousands of people
Cats dogs pedophiles pigs senators
Hotdog vendors rapists priests horses
Teachers drunkards vegetarians
Bastards and bitches alike
Were all swept away lost
(Lost means DEAD!)
& even the news cast tries to hide
The death toll & I tell the Doc
The polar bears will all drown &
He gives me a heavier dose
Of Seroquel
& then on this fantastic
I sleep an entire twenty-seven
Hours in five minutes.
When I awake it’s as if
I were rising from the depths of
Death it self
& I can barely remember my own
Or my diet
Or wild life
Or tsunamis
I tell the Doc people are saying
That our new president
Is the antichrist & he ups the
Dosage & soon afterward
Flying over the world
While seated in my chair
I think of my little soul
The child I have doomed
With my blood
& begin
To cry.

Well, Joseph this is a sad world, if you look through men eyes. But if you look at this world through Christ love you will see the beauty in this sad, mad painful world. Love Deborah #7
