Days No Longer Counted

Our days no longer counted, everyday forever blessed
Late night walks, along the beach
Trust in time to do the rest
No need to feel alone, fill your cup when it gets dry
No more sorrow or broken hearts, never again will you say why
Holding hands, each other’s guide, along some twisted paths
Removing pressure from our shoulders, and take upon unwanted rath
Your night and shining armor, or the Bonnie to your Clyde
No more tears of sorrow, they’ll turn to joy, I’m the sprinkle in your eye
Our parents preached when we were young, don’t rush what can’t be found
A piece of mind, and completed hearts, together we’ll be bound
Mathematician’s we’ll become, turning two into one
Two lost souls that found each other now his work is done
Take your dreams and make them true, feels like us against his time
But never to be powered alone, everlasting, as you mine
The bad we’ll share when trading rows, forever means I DO
Put you on a pedestal, my dreams are coming true
Like no win it’s not rare, that’s why the tortoise holds the prize
Who’d of thought there’d be a time I could find you in I
Your lips come close, my knees get weak, and I tremble with every touch
Like the gold in every rainbow, with you I’m filled with love
So now we share what it’s like, to find a friend in thee
Someone to share them secrets with, and build a family
My best friend and my lover, who found the beauty in a beast
Only one to understand, no perfect, ever in a being
Pillow talk, we will share as the moon is setting high
Forever will you have me, forever your ride or die
When soulmates get connected, torn apart they’re feeling sick
Stand by you and stand by me, a force to reckon with
Step by step, we will take this life, and share a love like this
Tightly wrapping you in my arms, emotions like a kid
You touch me, while I touch you, and now its tag you it
I know there will come a time when disagreements will seem to rise
That’s just when I will pull you close, and get lost in heavens eyes
So now I wonder, if you’ll be found, when father time he calls our way
Yet again, I know I will, just like once on Easter, I found a golden egg
But as I lay you down to sleep, at your side is where I pray
For when that time if ever comes, I know that you’ll be safe
Until it does, my love runs past, till death can take its place
I fell for you and you fell for me, together a promise is what we made
Please don’t worry or doubt, my other half you to know
Forever is everlasting, and I’m NEVER letting go
