Pain
when I was 15 I tore my ACL
and I thought it was the worst
pain I could ever experience
I was wrong
because when I was 16 I watched my friend’s dad die
when I was 17 a man who I trusted
and admired
walked out of my life by choice
and when I turned 18 I moved for the fifth time
but now I’m 19 and
I’ve learned not to open up to people who don’t listen
life sucks but
I’ve made enough new friends
to make up for the ones I’ve lost
