The King and I

**The King said:

"Bring me my worst enemy,
That vengeance may be mine!
That man who keeps me indigent
And drinking bitter wine."

The search was made for many years,
With leads to no avail.
This foe which since his boyhood knew,
Elusive as the Grail.

Then alas the king in dotage,
His men came in to say:
"We've found the man so long ye sought,
For your majesty to slay."

With sword in hand, into a room,
intent to end his feud.
within this room he met his foe.
He stood in solitude.
