Ghouls of the Night

The village clock struck midnight
Full moon,high in the sky
shutters on windows slam closed
As a dark soul wanders by
The cemetery comes to life
ghoulish creatures play
night time is our play time
We have no need for day
creaking sound of garden gates
witches on broomsticks fly
ghouls and goblins do their dance
Headless coachman passes by
A cockerel in the farmyard crows
The mood begins to change
creatures of the night move on
And the village starts to wake
Well be back tonight,they say
For the night is ours to take
