Cliche Stardust and Long Nights

I hate that I still think you're a good person--
Do you know how many messages I've typed to you but never sent?
I want to hold your hand
But you're the sun
And I'm the moon
And we could never collide
And I've had a few bad days in a row now
Where I just can't remember why I'm still here
I just keep thinking how stupid it is
To be breaking down
Over you.
You moved on pretty fast for someone who was
"in love"
With me.
I prefer rainfall over sunshine
And I guess that's why I loved you--
Every atom in our body
Was once part of a star--
So maybe I'm not leaving home
I'm going home
Because this place has never seemed like home to me.
