When Our Stories Are Told

When our stories are told, all the doors are walked through
Where will we be?
Is this that song that I always will sing to you
Or you sing to me?
When the stars start to fall like an autumn rain
Will I be yours?
We are watching the ocean carry our pain
Away from the shores,
But when it all disappears in the farthest waves
Will we still live?
As our dreams come to life from the deepest graves
Will we believe?
