All Around Me

As I wake to that obnoxious alarm
I look around and notice nothing new
I brush my teeth
Look in the mirror
All I see is me
Same routine
Day in, day out
The world around me remains unchanged
I wake to the obnoxious alarm
Everything seems to be the same
