Deceitful Darkness

"There was this girl that I cared about so much there was never a person I was so fond of, I mean I dealt with so many other females but she was the only one that I thought of, I had no idea what I was getting myself in, and I said to myself she's just a friend....it was three whole years until the day that I realized I ate my fears and somehow seemed to switch another gear, see we had a certain type of connection, way deeper than the average love & affection, the type of magnetic chemistry that when you two aren't together you go into depression.... and man my palms were sweating, heart was beating heavy, but in my mind I know I couldn't be ready, but can ya dig this, I said to her "I know you look at me as a friend"..and went in for a kiss, those brown eyes and glossy lips drew me in, and when we were kissing I was surprised she even pulled me in, thinking to myself maaaaaan this girl is so damn fine she pushed me back and smiled and said "about damn time!" I laughed and said what do you mean, she said this exact moment has been my wildest dream....from that day forward our relationship became more, but I wouldn't pull the trigger on the pistol because we never really made it official, I mean she was already in a situation with another guy, but according to her it was all based on lies, not by surprise she was playing the fence, still messing around with him but when she's with me he's always in past tense, it went on for a quite a while until one day I just said i'm done, I mean yeah I think i've had more than enough fun, sometimes you gotta grip the fact that you're not meant to be the one, so I ended everything before our whole friendship went for a plunge, and when it all ended they got back together and everything was settled, and it gave me closure because then I knew I was the darkness blocking their perfect weather!"
