Life Is Not Fair

Life is not fair
Life is not kind
Life is nothing but evil
Or for me it sure feels like it.

My father doesn't want me
I'm my mother's mistake
My son is the only one holding me
to this stake
we call life.

They say look to god
with prayers and thanks
Look down at the devil
with an devilish smirk

I believe in neither
because what have either done
for me?
My life feels like hell

My father,
Why did you leave me
when I needed you most?

My baby's father,
Why did you give up
on the relationship
I cherished and kept close?

My mother,
you're hateful words
have driven my emotions
to be closed.

My life his hell
But I keep going
Stuck on this stake
We call life

Life will never be fair
Life will never be kind
Life will forever be hell
Or so is mine.
