About

I've been told the world is a bad place
And I could never make it
That I had a war to brace

So I always sat all alone
And just stared out my window
That's all I've ever known

You would even think it's funny
Seeing me wide-eyed over a new tree
Or the sky around me being sunny

But to me it's something new
It's so beautiful, maybe not to you
But to a girl who never even knew

You can only imagine how I may feel
Yearning to see something unknown
So then my lonely heart can start to heal

And I know I will have to face my past
It will be the most difficult thing ever
But I still won't need a hero to save me at last
