Untitled

Spun me high
Only to sink me low
This love hurts like nobody knows.
A love so new
Started so long ago,
A love that never had a chance grow.

Seasons of joy
Quickly turned to tears
Foolish cares and stubborn fears,
Two lovers kept from drawing near.
All because Him we would not hear.

Time has passed but the wounds remain
Is it possible for love to now be claimed?
What was meant to be,
Could be so good
If only it was possible to heal open wounds.

A love so new
Started so long ago
Pain hidden deeply
But now through tears show
Tho even in pain your presence never left me
The memory of loss broke what could be.

Through hurt we seemed to hold on
But past mistakes still kept love from being born.
This love so new
That started long ago
Love meant to be between us two
But pain, tells us we have to move on

If our love pass
And we walk through that opened door
Will we be able to forget
And really move on
This new love we have
That started so long ago
Will pass away
What could be
 will be no more.

My sweet love
Is it our time or,
do we say goodbye,
Has life drawn its final line?
I guess it was too hard for us to ever try
We could never hit play
We constantly rewind

Will the world now know
What we hoped was not true
The love we once had
Has only left her open wounds.
