The Tragedy In Black

9/2/15

It’s what we all can’t recognize
It’s what tells us how to be
It’s what tells us how to act.
It agrees with black jealousy
It drives obsession
and feeds impulsion.
It’s what we can’t get rid of
It’s what needs to get out.
It helps us cope
But makes it easier to mope.
It’s what haunts our souls
It makes us inhuman
But all humans have it.
It’s that little voice
Inside one’s head that says
Just do it.
