Reborn Love

My hope had left,
My heart had died,
Then a quick message from you
And my heart had been revived.

I've been abused,
Beaten and bruised.
My heart ripped apart
Then reused.

You took my hand
and gave me affection.
You gave me love and hope
and most of all protection.

I've been harassed,
I've been brought down,
But you always know
How to eliminate a frown.

You make me smile
and you make me happy.
I know you don’t like it,
But love can be sappy.

I give you my heart,
Body and soul,
I love you so much
And know you’ll keep my heart whole.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
