Love, Hate

I love the way he made me smile
I loved his gentle touch
I loved the way he'd walk three miles 
Just cause he loved me that much

I hate the way he left me here
I hate the way he didn't say bye
I hate that i can't hold him near
I ask one question why

I know deep down we're meant to be
I wish i saw it before
