Her Fate

Everybody says that she’s okay
She just fakes a smile and says
I’m fine
Nobody knows
She’s living a lie
Nobody knows
She wants to die
It’s too late
She’s trapped
It’s fate
Nobody knows
The pain buried deep
Nobody knows
The secrets
She forces her heart to keep
She doesn’t care
She doesn’t believe
Anybody could ever care about her
She’s not a toy
She’s not a cheap novelty
Bottled up
Like some commodity
She bleeds the ink
Of subtle allegories
Pain masked
Behind poems and stories
She’s enraged
Stuck in a self-made cage
She’s filled with so much hate
Nobody cares
It’s too late
Now red rain Falls from her wrist
And this time
She won’t be missed
She wonders if
He knows why
He’s the reason
She must die
Does he love her?
Does he care?
Will he notice-
When she isn’t there?
If you wait until tomorrow
It will be too late
She has already chosen
Her painful fate
She hates herself
And deserves to die
Nobody will ever know
The reason why
Boom, boom
She has now met her doom
Does he miss her?
Does he still care?
Has he even noticed-
She’s no longer there?
He was just a silly boy
Who treated her
Like a toy
He played her
Like a game
He said it was love
But it wasn’t the same
She didn’t feel
That it wasn’t real
She was nothing
But a waste of space
Nobody understood
She didn’t belong in that place
Nobody knew about the fake smile
Plastered all over her face
Too bad she didn’t live to tell
Now she’ll be eternally
Burning in Hell
Nobody noticed
Day by day
She was only pretending
To be okay
Her heart has been broken
Like a crack in the track
Now it’s too late to ever go back
Nobody knows her cuts are deep
Nobody knows she cried herself to sleep
She cried out
But you all had deaf ears
She had been forgotten
Over the years
Her blood
Red like ink
Had seeped through the seems
And you’ll never know
What this means
She had cried out
For help
But you ignored her
You just didn’t care
Now she’s gone
And vanished
Into thin air
