Anxiety

Have you ever had a nightmare when your not dreaming?
Does it scare you, and you say this can be happening?

Do you feel like the whole world is crashing down?
Like your in a swimming pool about to drown?

Lost in your thoughts of what if?
They seem to be driving you straight to a cliff.

Seems like I've been here before...
But this time it feels like so much more

The worst part is I really have no reason to fear
Because It's already been made so clear

But I still stay up late
Because all I can do is contemplate

Right now I need a taste of reality
I'm so lost in my anxiety

Interesting poem of good rhymes and imagery that strangely reminds me of Barbara Streisand in a movie as trainer of a team of athletes speaking about nightmare scenes of a fight with much blood. She added her similar bloody image (as test of reality) when sticking an envelope cut a little a bit her tip tongue and hurt it and had pain.My own test of reality is to check my sense of humor by using an other key of interpretation for my troubles in the long journey from K.O to OK, regain high mood.
