Dreadful

This all begun
for no reason,
and it seems
baffling.

Out of the blue, 
I glanced at
the moon,
and I fall.

So, my head 
turns down; 
glancing at
my foot.

Asking myself, 
could it be you?
But, no one
responds to me.

No one...

Until someone's
whispering in my ear,
I closed my eyes

While the rhythms 
of my heart quivered
faster than before. 

My eyes opened... 

Dreadful!
