Meals of Memories

Surrounded by wonderful aromas
But all I tasted was sorrow

I choke your favorite meal down
As your memory wets my eyes

How is everyone hungry 
When you've just died

I know I must eat
To go on living

But what is the point of life
If you aren't doing it with me
