A Rose

She came like an angel going through the sky The most beautiful thing I ever saw I told myself, "she was the one" Her smile, brighter than the the shine of diamonds Her cheeks, soft and red like the dress she lifted me with She was the sun that went through my window I wanted more than just a friendship Every step she took raced my pulse She stole my heart The place was lighted with blue Then she held my hand She looked at me with her eyes They were watery, but still beautiful Her body hanged, but was still the best There was little kids sitting behind crying She smiled again, as it was the last I saw The room was cold with sadness everywhere I said,"Don't cry. I'll always be with you." I slept for a time that seemed forever I then woke up She remained as beautiful as always She was walking in what seemed a park It looked beautiful as I past the wonderful trees Then she stopped walking and looked down She placed a rose on a blurry object I walked up and hugged her Then I realized her purpose, and I smiled She still remembered me
