As v all xpct on d beginning of a 
year

For it to b a happy 1 n nt just a 
mere

I wsnt 1 of those peer

 cz I knew it wud b all of tear..



Twas a year of hardship

Twas a year of failure

Twas a year I wont like again

It became smthing kind of a 
deadly fear..



Twas a year of clashes

Twas a year of pain

Twas a year dt I wud like 2 
erase frm my life n drain..        



D only happy thing ws my 
birthday

Aftr which all d days I thot why 
I tuk birth on sm day..



Days r passing by

Nyts r gone

I m still in search of d happiness 
dt I ws 2 b blessd upon..



D year has cm 2 an end

And d search too

Bt I still cudnt find it

Neither in me nor in u..



D year has taught me hw harsh 
lyf cn b 

Wid evry new day u c

Wid evry new struggle wid d 
break of d dawn

I fear this will go on n on n on..



Wid a new hope I wanna begin 
d new year

Even though I knw it isnt gonna 
b a 1 dt wud b dear..
