Post Corona

There was a time Pre Corona
And there is the present time of Corona
I wonder if there would ever be any time Post Corona

It seems like it's been ages we went out for fresh air
It's guarded by the Mask
That smell of wet earth, that rose, that lily
That citrus tree with smooth shiny coat
The mask has put a barrier on all
Lest we should fall in trap

That sea beach, that discotheque,
That never ending road
All are deserted and desolate
The night curfew and Lockdown have limited us
Lest we should fall in trap

That happiness we were used to
That 'carefree'ness which was real
Is now synonymous to being cautious
And celebrations which are virtual
All this has saved us
Lest we should fall in trap
Little do we realize
We have fallen into 'The Trap'.
