Forbidden Treasure

Forbidden love we secretly shared....young love don't last that's what they say.

Late nights when the whole world is asleep....we sneak out and meet under the big pine tree...laid in your arms watching the stars praying that this moment would never end.

We live in two different worlds that didn't allow our hearts to become one.

With a darken skin tone gracefully shaded by the sun...and I myself red boned.

Day seems to last longer as I desperately waited into we meet again.

That night when I thought the world was asleep I couldn't run fast enough to our secret pine tree...I waited and waited and soon fell asleep.

The sun blinding my eyes is the reason i could not see the strange fruit that was hanging from our secret pine tree...completely numbed I felt my soul leave my body....and my heart turned into stone.

I could not cry, move or make a sound...I just stood there under our secret pine tree.

My heart died when yours no longer beats...I buried it that very same day....deep, deep under our secret pine tree.
