Stained Glass Window

Tears roll down her cheek
like the morning dew of a leaf
trickling now as if a creek
her quiet sobs mark her grief

now run along, theres nothing here
Tis a sight you shouldn't see, but alas
All who pass can see her fear
The women trapped in stained glass

Her beauty captured by the hues
of ever shifting shades of blue
her time is frozen in her past
forced to play the die life cast

Never before has art looked so cruel
or made a room so damp and cool
as when you the window pass
and gaze at the women frozen in glass
