There's a cop at the bar,
drinking his usual scotch for the night.
     There's a daddy rushing home,
to play with the kids, then tuck'm in bed for the night.
There's a young couple, childhood sweethearts,
on their honeymoon, making love for their very first time.
There's an old man at his wife's bedside,
still holding hands, while saying "Good-bye."
      Ater sixty years of marriage,
she's still his one delight.
