One Last Tear

It’s with a heavy heart and sad soul,
A dry glass and empty bowl
I find I must write this
And give The Springs a goodbye kiss.

Thank you to everyone who made it worth my time.
Thank you to @arthurwritesstuff and @euphori_a for my rhymes.
You guys are the only reason it went from pen to air
And you guys are why I’m comfortable now, and why people care.
You showed me that art shouldn’t be hidden.
You gave voice to what was only meant to be written.

Thank you to my good friend RandolphRudolphGary.
You kept me centered when things got scary.
Jesus, a thank you for you too,
For picking me up when I was blue.
You two are some of the best friends I’ve ever had
And you showed me what it means to stick through good and bad.

Thank you, Israel, for being my brother
When I had nothing else, when I had no other.
It’s been tough and we tried to make it work,
And you stayed with it, even when I was more than a jerk.

Thank you to the friends I no longer talk to
I loved you when we were talking and I still do now too.
I apologize I wasn’t more.
I’m sorry I’m kinda a stupid whore.
I’m sorry I pushed you away.
I’m sorry I… I just can’t stay.

So one final tear I will shed.
One more droplet will be bled.
One more hair ripped from my head.
And just once more before I put it to bed

 I love you The Springs
I love the memories it brings
But I’m out now, I’m going home
I can no longer be me who roams.
I must go back to be intact
Though it wasn’t my plan exact.
Still it wasn’t supposed to be forever.
So I’ll shed one final tear to what is now never.

Very passionate and kind of sad. Nice tribute to friends but hard on yourself. Hugs
