Where did it go

Is what we had a lie?
Was the spark even there?
Are we too tired?
Too worn out to care?

Is our love lost?
Was it ever even found?
You left me to exhaust.
My screams were so loud.

Love or lust?
Truth or lie?
You've lost trust.
I had to try.

Will it ever be the same?
Was it ever real?
Am I all to blame?
Is it what I feel?

Do you feel ANY regret?
Have you felt any shame?
Do you want to forget?
Never again hear my name?

Where did it go?
Our connection disappeared.
Is there anything to show?
It's all doubt in my ears.

The last line is a very interesting one. Doubt in your ears, not your mind or heart...but, your ears...intriguing. Nicely done.
