The American Dream

Have you bought into.the scheme?
That keeps you in debt, to the 1%

The education, The house, the car

I want, I want, I want it all!!

But first, I have to pay off, this college
Tution course.

25,000.00 in a loan hole.
I must get a job, to pay it all off.
Sadly I can't get a job in my field
This was not, apart of the deal.

They told me to get a education.
I would be at the top.
I have to find a job
If it means, pushing a mop.

1 credit card left. I've paid off 3
These interest rates, are killing me.
I wish I took some time, to think things through
The white picket fence, if only I knew.

THE AMERICAN DREAM!!
I had to, pursue.

A mortgage seemed so, unreal at the time
That old French word

Mort- DEAD GAGE- PLEDGE

Plagues my mind.

What was I thinking! I'm not free!!
In debt, I will forever be

I bought the dream- red white & blue
Education, house, car & other things to

Yes I bought the dream, but they sold me a lie
Before you want, a piece of the pie

In debt, we trust till the day we die!!!

I believe in the American dream as well. The American dream is still there it is. It's just buried beneath mountains of bureaucracy. Regulation after regulation has been placed to take a little more freedom from each and every American including the American dream. And the thought of what our government does to our soldiers and how they abandon our soldiers for the 1%.In this country every aspect of the government gets away with breaking the law.And they cater to the 1% not to the American people
