Child

1. You may not know
How the sweet world works outside of you
And how it runs freely

2. You don't know at all
Yet you enjoy it in full
Is that quite so bad?

3. You may not know
Why the Sun beats down upon the Earth
And on your sweet face.

4. You are so very naive
Quick to believe what is told
But is that a flaw?

5. You may be gullible
But your eyes see through the darkness
That blinds most others.

6. Innocent eyes see
What the worldly eyes fail to see here
You have true happiness.
