The River of Pain

THE RIVER OF PAIN
Oh! All she ever loved
All she ever wanted
Was to swim with me in that river of Joy
To stay by the water side
To look in my eyes
Hold me in her arms, and tell me;
I love you! You mean the world to me!
Will there be a day; you will take me to altar!
Look to my eyes and make those solemn vows
I can’t wait my love and my life, she said!
The river of Joy where we draw hope
Where we share thorns and nice times
Where life is most beautiful
Where we share our dreams
Please, hold me with gem hands
And take me to summit part of the river of Joy
To have a cute swim of the day!
I should have followed her
The only one that makes my heart beat
I watched her, been tossed by the rage of the sea
I saw her waving good bye to me, the third time
She cried frantically in the whale’s mouth
Oh… my love, forgive me for this never- return journey

I knew she would have liked to say more
As tears flow from her eyes
Like a turbulent stream on her cheeks
Oh! How so cold she was
But the whale could not hesitate
My spirit yearns for you
Even in the spiritual realm
What use is this life for me!
Life exist because one needs breath
One eats food for healthy living
One gives birth for life proceed
Some marry because it is necessary
Some quest for money for merry life
But all I ever wanted was my Mirabel
But money, marriage, birth, food, breathes;
It is nothing to me, to “my love Mirabel!”
The river of Joy has taken my breath away
The river of Joy has taken Mirabel
My river of Joy has turned against me
And now, my river of pain!
