was late in my entry :( but here's my piece...

Silvery lightning flashes across the changing sky,
Brightening the darken night.
A threatening storm brews ahead,
Deafening thunder causes many to fright.

Gloomy swollen clouds sagging above,
Burst out with torrential rain.
The wind fights its way through the closed doors
And howls as though it’s in some sort of pain.

Standing by my bedside window,
Fascinated by such incredible power,
As all around me vividly changes,
with every passing hour.

The calm sea turns vigorously rough,
Drowning anything in its path.
Flooding out the roads and rivers,
While the wind tears the trees apart.

Mother Nature been at her worst,
Yet phenomenal at the same time.
Some may call it a miraculous event
And some may call it a crime.

Hours pass by, the battle ends abruptly,
But leaves behind a disastrous mess.
Total calm after a raging storm,
That left many in distress.
