Smoking My Life Away

Smoking my life away
With each drag I crash and burn
A simple puff makes everything better
Just one inhale no harm done
Chemically challenged I may be
My life revolves my urges
Weaknesses I believe that surround me
Like this smoke I breath in
A disguise it hides my fears
An excuse to step away
One foot further in that six foot hole
A paper box leads me on
Every decision involves a rolled answer
So dependent on this cancer stick
A soil for my complete failure
To grow and die in
Who cares if I continue or quit
Who cares if its only my life I take
Smoking it away
Another dollar down the drain
Another tumor seed planted in my garden of failed attempts
Who knows why I smoke
Why I take this direction I go
Every Friday I buy that pack
That pack of dreams made to destroy
I cant wait to smoke my life away
I can't wait to spend what I cant afford
I can't wait when it's to late for me to reconsider this smoking gun
Or can I; only you can decide
Make it count because it is not about you
The sooner you see this the better
My friend Crash you know who you are.
