Sometimes I feel
Life has passed me by
As we get older
My, the time does fly

Like sand in an hourglass
Time both pleasure and pain brings
We watch the granules of sand
Slowly time sings

When I was younger
It seemed time stood still
Somewhat naive and full of blunder
Bad life choices I had my fill

Maybe time is not a white haired man
But rather a laughing child
Whose passage is constant and tangible
Like an hourglass all the while

Tick, tick moves the clock
Time running out
I'm the court jester
Still asking what life is about

Heavy are my legs
Full of sand together
My mind heavy with indecision
Though light as a feather

So many choices unmade
Unfulfilled is my cup
Time runs out of my body
Tick, tock time to wake up..

Time gone, time here and time tomorrow. With each ticking clock there goes another life story. I enjoyed this !
